Excavation Prices

The standard trip fee is $2,320.00 which covers the following:

  1. Insurance
  2. Meals
  3. Room for 6 nights (for 2)
  4. Landowner fees
  5. Guide fees
  6. Daily land transportation to and from the collection sites
  7. Hand Tool usage
  8. Field Instruction
  9. Your fossil collection
  10. All supplies necessary for fossil removal

In order to pay the up front costs of this project, we request that 25 percent of the fee be paid as a deposit as soon as possible with your confirmation and waver. An additional 25 percent is due before the end of April 2008. The balance is due on May 15, 2008. Special rates apply to the following categories:

  • Students - $2,000.00
  • Repeat Participants - $2,000.00
  • Groups (each Participant) - $2,000.00
  • Children under 17-$1100.00
  • Four Wheel Drive Vehicle Discount - If you drive into the field each day, take $300.00 off (per vehicle).
